Organized by the St. Volodymyr Cultural Association of Montreal, the Festival aims to promote Ukrainian heritage and culture to the Montreal community and to increase awareness of the contribution of Ukrainian-Canadians to Canadian society in Quebec.

Visitors who attend the Festival have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Ukrainian traditions of folk crafts, music, dance, art and cuisine.

Over the years, the Festival has continuously grown. From its humble beginnings with 600 visitors to over now over 18, 000 spectators annually. The Montreal Ukrainian Festival attracts visitors from all over the province of Quebec, Ontario and North East of the United States.
