EVGENIYA ALEKSEEVA
Montréal, QC
Evgeniya Alekseeva, a Canadian singer born in Odesa, Ukraine with a crystal clear voice, and a coloratura soprano, possesses a unique style that combines classical vocals and modern sound. Winner of numerous international and all-Ukrainian competitions.

MARIA BARGAN
Odesa, Ukraine – Montréal, QC
Maria Bargan, 13, was born in Odesa, but grew up and took her first creative steps in Kyiv. From the age of 3 she took part in children’s singing competitions, and from the age of 6 she was a member of the Yahilochka folk song ensemble. A multiple winner of national and international competitions, and composes her own songs.

BARVINOK DANCE GROUP
Mississauga, ON
For over 52 years Barvinok has been providing instruction to dancers in the church hall of the Dormition of the Mother of God Church (St. Mary’s) in Mississauga. Barvinok has represented the Ukrainian Community of Mississauga on local, regional, national and international levels. The school is committed to teaching Ukrainian traditional dance.

DEN BAURIN
International artist and composer with a unique voice and signature style. His songs combine emotion, melody, and modern pop sound, enchanting listeners worldwide. From Ukraine to the USA, Australia, Brazil, and beyond – DEN BAURIN’s music is played on radio stations, while his concerts bring together audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

KATERYNA BRAGINA
Lviv, Ukraine – Montréal, QC
Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Kateryna studied cello at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine. She had the honor of performing for the President of Ukraine and the Pope during his visits to Ukraine. A member of the Dominante quintet. In Denmark, she performed in the presence of the Queen of Denmark.

NATALYA GENNADI
Toronto, ON
Natalya Gennadi is a Ukrainian-Canadian opera. She performed major roles including Médée in Cherubini’s Médée, Gerhilde in Die, and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus. Her repertoire spans leading roles such as Adriana (Adriana Lecouvreur), Violetta (La Traviata), and Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro). A recipient of the Shevchenko Foundation’s REACH Development Grant.

FUNKYLEV (ILLIA LEVCHENKO)
Donetsk, Ukraine – Ottawa, ON
Illia is a Ukrainian drummer and solo artist known for high-energy shows blending electronic beats with Ukrainian rhythms. Originally from Donetsk, he’s performed worldwide—from SXSW in the U.S. to Ukrainian festivals across Canada and Asia—bringing powerful, interactive performances to every stage.

KATERYNA KHRUZYNA AND YEVGEN KARYAKIN
Toronto, ON
Kateryna is a five-time champion of Ukraine in sports ballroom dancing, finalist of TV projects So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars (Ukraine). Founder of Dance by Khruzina dance studio in Toronto GTA, trainer and presenter of educational courses. A mother of many children and a happy person. Anna-Mariia, Stanislav and Hryhoriy – Kateryna’s children who are the winners of many dance competitions.

BOHDAN KIRIEIEV
Kyiv, Ukraine – Toronto, ON
Bohdan Kirieiev is a Ukrainian classical singer (lyric baritone), Ukrainian Viennese Balls soloist (2019-2020), and vocal teacher currently living in Toronto. He studied classical vocal performance at the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music. A winner of multiple Ukrainian and international music competitions and festivals. Since 2023, Bohdan has been a soloist in the Canadian new opera project ‘Tango For Two’.

YURIY KONEVYCH
Ternopil, Ukraine – Montréal, QC
Yuriy Konevych is a lyrical tenor from Montreal. He performed at various festivals and official events around Canada. In his repertoire, there is mainly classical music, Ukrainian baroque works, Ukrainian folk songs, world classical arias, and art songs. Yuriy mastered vocal at McGill Conservatory.

TARAS KULISH
Orchestre classique de Montréal

Taras Kulish is a chief executive of the Orchestre classique de Montréal (OCM) which was founded in 1939 by violinist, conductor, and composer Alexander Brott and cellist and manager Lotte Brott. Previously named the McGill Chamber Orchestra, the OCM quickly became one of Canada’s most established chamber orchestras. The OCM is a vibrant, innovative, and flexible ensemble consisting of the city’s best professional musicians presenting concerts throughout the year and is now in residence at the Salle Pierre-Mercure. HLOPTSI Z MISTA
Toronto, ON – Montréal, QC
Based from Toronto, Hloptsi z Mista, or X3M (ex-three-em) for short, is an ambitious Ukrainian zabava band serving the public with a wide repertoire of fast polkas, groovy ballads, and blazing rock. X3M delivers on a sound that is innovative, unique and memorable. Building on the success of their debut album Kompakt Dysk in 2021, these Hloptsi have worked hard to release their 2nd album, Kozatskyj Stil.

GALYNA MAKSYMENKO
Ternopil, Ukraine – Montréal, QC
Born in Lviv, Ukraine and spent most of her life in Ternopil. Graduated from the Music College after S. Krushelnytska and Kyiv National University of Culture as a professor of a button accordion and a folk orchestra conductor. Participated in a festival “The Spring of Kyiv” in 1975. Music folk bands under Galyna’s supervision received multiple awards.

MARUNCZAK DANCE GROUP
Montréal, QC
The Marunczak Ukrainian Dance Ensemble was founded in 1945 by Peter Marunczak, and has been under the artistic direction of Donna Marunczak for over 20 vears. The ensemble currently performs at weddings, festivals, receptions, and other events in and around Montreal.

ANNA MIHUNOVA
Kharkiv, Ukraine – Montréal, QC
Kharkiv-born singer, Anna Mihunova pays tribute to timeless Ukrainian retro songs. Anna combines a wide range of styles, including opera, jazz, pop, and folk. Her stage experience includes notable performances with Madrigal Musical Theatre in productions such as Mozart, Les Trois Mousquetaires, Robin Hood, Maleficent, Burlesque, and many others. She has also performed opera with the Savoy Theatre Society.

VIACHESLAV NITRUTSA
Montréal, QC
Viacheslav Nitrutsa is an author and performer in the style of popular dance music. Honored pop artist of Ukraine who came to Montreal from Kyiv in 2023. He has a ready-made concert program of his own original songs.

BORYS OSTAPIENKO
Toronto, ON
Borys Ostapienko is a professional bandurist and pianist. He started playing musical instruments at the age of 6 and at the age of 10 became the youngest member of the Canadian Bandurist Capella, He has performed and placed 1st in numerous competitions. He had the chance to perform at the Fifth International Bandura Competition in Kharkiv, Ukraine, where he had been awarded for being the youngest bandura player. In 2018, he received the first prize from the Mykola Lysenko Bandura Competiton in Kyiv.

VITALIY REUTSKY
Moldova – Montréal, QC
Vitaliy Reutsky is a professional pan-flute musician with over 25 years of national and international stage and studio performance. Born in Moldova and based in Montreal, Canada, he plays an expanded version of the classical Romanian-style pan flute (Nai), a version which increases the instrument’s range and gives added overtones.

KOZAK SIROMAHA (Special Guest)
Kyiv, Ukraine
KOZAK SIROMAHA is a popular Ukrainian artist — a true free Cossack who lives by ancient traditions. Participant of The Voice of Ukraine, Season 8.
He is known for his hit songs such as “Hulyaly”, “Voroha Poboremo”, “Vystoyimo”, and “Ostanniy Mayak”, which have collectively garnered over 250 million streams. As of today, Kozak Siromaha’s first video has 21 million views, and his YouTube channel has over 232,000 subscribers. In addition, he has 380,000 followers on TikTok.

SOLODA (DUO ANDRONATII)
Kyiv, Ukraine – Montréal, QC
Dmytro and Khrystyna Andronatiia, who have been living in Canada for three years. As part of their new project “Soloda”, they present the song “Strong”, which tells about love in the conditions of war. The program also includes Ukrainian songs from the repertoire of Kvitka Tsisyk.

ALEXANDRU SURA
Kishinev, Moldova – Montreal, QC
Born in 1980 in Kishinev, Moldova. Since the age of 12, Alexandru has consistently won the top prize in various national and international competitions. At about this time he began to play with some of the most professional and prestigious orchestras. Recently, Alexandru played a series of concerts with the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto. His repertoire is ranging from traditional music, folk performances, and classical music to modern music.

TRIO ROSSA

Sonia Kulycky, Natalia Bedik, and Nina Semchyshyn’s shared love of song shines when performing their vast repertoire of traditional and contemporary Ukrainian songs as Montreal’s Rossa (POCA) Trio. Grand prix winners of the 2020 Bereginia Euro Virtual Festival, featured in the Spivanka documentary by Mo-D Productions, and guest performers at the Ukrainian Embassy in Ottawa.

TRIO ZHIVYTSIA

Zhivytsa is a new Ukrainian female trio in Ottawa, where folk energy meets modern sound. Three voices. Three stories. One musical magic. We revive archaic song, add power and sensuality to it, creating a living space for memory, soul, and rhythm.

SERGEI TROFANOV
Moldova – Montréal, QC
Sergei Trofanov is a violinist from Moldova. Since his arrival in Canada, he has continued his international career. He has toured various countries around the world, such as South Korea, Japan, China, the United States, France, and others. He has recorded several CDs.

TROYANDA DANCE GROUP

GROUP TSVIT
Québec, QC
Tsvit is an amateur Ukrainian dance and singing group, created in 2023 at the initiative of the Alliance of Ukrainians in Quebec City. The artistic director of the group is Oleksandra Sopilnyak, a choreographer by education, a dancer of the Hryhoriy Veryovka Choir, co-founder and organizer of the Ukrainian Festival “Kozachok” in 2013 in Lévy-Québec and numerous other cultural events.

OREST TZYMBALA
Lviv, Ukraine
Famous Ukrainian singer, author of many artistic projects, and founder of International Song Festivals. Born and lives in Lviv. Author of the projects “Rebel Tango” and “Carpathian Tango”. Founder and art director of the International Festival of Ukrainian Retro Music named after Bohdan Vesolovsky.

VERONICA UNGUREANU
Chisinău, Moldova – Montréal, QC
Born in Chisinau, Moldova, she continued her musical development at the Ciprian Porumbescu Music High School. In 2008, she became concertmaster of the Université de Montréal Orchestra.. She has been a member of the New Generation Orchestra since 2010, an ensemble founded by Yuli Turovsky.

VIDLUNNYA CHOIR
Montréal, QC
The “Vidlunnya” Choir is a Ukrainian choir established under the aegis of the Association of Young Ukrainians (CYM) in Montreal. Since its founding in 1995, the Choir has been an important centre of Ukrainian musical life of Montreal. The choir interprets choral compositions of Ukraine, Ukrainian folk music, liturgical and religious pieces, and carols in Ukrainian. Choir director is Nataliya Kuchmiy.
